Stanley & Stella's Story (Puppy Mill Survivors)
Stella came to HBRL needing ear surgery due to chronic allergies and untreated ear infections. Advance Veterinary Hospital performed the delicate surgery shortly after she was rescued and we began the process of getting her healthy. The poor girl was absolutely terrified of human touch. Little Stanley was afraid of
his own shadow but otherwise pretty healthy. They were put into their foster home and the Cesar’s Way methods were practiced. Quickly, the pair began to adapt to their new world.

Stanley and Stella were adopted this February and this is what
the new owners wrote to us:

They love to go for walks and play in the yard. Stanley likes to munch on the green herbs sprouting up in our garden, especially the oregano and parsley! Stella likes to roll around on her back in the grass. The Hammond's couldn't be happier with our new family members. Stella is very happy and not as shy as she used to be, and Stanley is very happy and living like a King!
Stanley is such a comedian. He is always making us
laugh! They bring us joy every day.
